Phantom beeping but nothing else

When I turn on bird it just beeps with no lights flashing. Just flew it an hour ago and it was fine

Did you try just pulling the battery out for 10 minutes or so? Or try another battery and make sure SD card is out too.

Tried another battery, same thing. When I turn it on it beeps continuously , camera light flashes green then red. Controller shows no juice in battery and says card is invalid and to format. If I try to format it says card timeout.

Also says aircraft needs an upgrade but it does the same thing

Format your SD card in your computer.
Download the latest or last used firmware from DJI.
Put the firmware on the root of the SD card.
Place the SD card in your Phantom.
Power it on and let it do it's thing.
Lock it in a closet while it makes that infernal beeping.

Mine made that loud noisy beeping after flashing. I followed that procedure and it took the update after 30

Makes no difference. Beeps continuously but no lights flashing. It has already been updated, been flying it since upgrade. Was flying it today 2 hours ago. Now just beeps, no lights but camera light which is red.

FYI, got up this morning and it works. Go figure.

It might be worth having a different SD card to hand in case that one's faulty.
It almost seems like it was trying to check the card for updates or something and getting mixed messages.
