wifi password

I'm having trouble connecting the wifi on my Phantom 2+ vision I tried the 12341234 password but it didn't work I never set any password when I bought this new in 2015 can't understand why all of a sudden it is asking for a password any help would be great

There should not be any password,
Make sure the ( wifi you are connecting to MATCHES the ( 60-60-1f-??-??-?? ) on the sticker on your extender unit!
Sometimes the code for the internal wifi unit comes through ( if you upgraded the extender )
Must hook to extender not internal wifi!

If all else fails RESET your extender and rebind your bird!
( this happens sometimes when extender battery goes dead ) usually from sitting a while!

the wifi matches and your right I never had to put a password in before I don't know what you mean by resetting the extender and rebinding the bird?

You first need your Mac Address
( located inbox bird came in( usually in QR code form )

If you don't have it
You'll need an android device as it is HIDDEN

Either follow the video
Or

( once you have the Mac addy
( 60:60:1F:??:??:?? )

Turn on ONLY extender, wait 45 seconds,
Press and hold BINDING button on extender
( located in a tiny hole, next to power switch and between charger port )
You'll use paper clip, pin, etc
Press and hold button until you see a solid light on SYSTEM LED ( not power led ) or 5 seconds,
Then release button
Turn on bird
Wait for extender to reset
Then hook to wifi as normal ( the extender wifi not Mac you received from insider app )
Now when you open dji vision app, choose SETTINGS,
Scroll down until you see BINDING
manually type the Mac we received in the insider app,
Click BLUE check in top corner
New page will open
Click BLUE check on that page
Will go back to app main screen
Turn EVERYTHING OFF
Now
Turn all back on as normal, and should be good to go!
( your normal startup )
Tx -on
Extender- on
Bird- on
Wait for wifi, and hook to it
Open app
Choose camera
Should be good, if not call me back !

That worked but now when I open the camera on my Iphone it says connection to Phantom failed

It's hooked to the range extender but not the camera on the drone any ideas

It might take a couple tries,
I've had them do that before!

Also make sure your wifi is not reverting back to your home wifi, when phantom signal gets weak!
I've also had that issue in the past.

after re-binding I had to scan the QR on the bottom of the drone and it took right off Thanks for your help and Happy Flying
