Warning: (IMU) please advice me what to do next?

I got this warning today when I was about fly in my backyard:

WARNING: [IMU] heading exception (in flight) please switch to Atti mode if craft behave abnormally (using)

I didn't continue flying, I brought down the drone straight away. Do I need to recalibrate my drone again? What should I do now to ensure the safety of my drone. Thank you in advance for your time/advice guys

Hmmmm, well you did the right thing in bringing you AC back home. It certainly won't do any harm to recalibrate the IMU, and that's what I'd do for sure.

Well you can go a fly it again and see if it returns, it's your call. It's belt 'n' braces as far as I'm concerned.

I just had a look and the IMU was "Normal" I will test it tomorrow and see if it balance and not drifting to the side etc. thanks for your time anyways
