Video editor for Windows PC

I thought I would use the drone for mostly still pictures but am finding that videos are a lot more fun.

The problem now is to find a video editor for a Windows pc that can handle .mov and .mp4 files and 1080p or 2.7k resolution.

All the free editors that I have downloaded and tried really suck. I would gladly pay for one that could handle the video from my p3s.

I want one that will actually download from the p3s and make it easy to navigate to them.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good video editor for free or for sale?

I can't really answer that since everyone learns at a different pace but I'd say for simple editing like adding a song or trimming a video and stitching videos together it can't get much easier. I believe they give you a free 1 month trial.

I use Premiere Elements on win 7. Pretty basic but not expesive either.

Will Adobe premier pro cc run on Windows 10? From what I have seen it will only run on Windows 7 and 8.

Have a look at Resolve... it's completely free as well!

I didn't know resolve had a free version. Good choice as long as they didn't cripple it too much.

I'm using VSDC Free Video Editor. It seems to be a very good editor but the learning curve is kinda steep. However, my copy appears to have malware attached to it even though I got it at cnet. If you're interested, I'd download it from Download Free Video Editor: best software for video editing directly.

Program is still worth the money, I use adobe premiere cs6 pro but have not tested 2.7k footage.

Cyberlink PowerDirector 14. It is like 64 dollars, and pretty easy and intuitive to use.
