Anyone know of any good video editing software thats not too over the top! That can also do reverse clip

Assuming you're on a PC, this one isn't on that list. It's not over the top, economical, easy to learn but still fairly powerful. Decent color correction capabilities.

Adobe Premiere Elements, Cyberlink Power Director, and Vegas Movie are all good. Not sure I understand what you mean by "reverse clip".

Filmora will run clips in reverse...

Run the video clip backwards.

As noted above Filmora will do this and for a very good price point.
