Saw this today and thought I'd share it; it's a submarine deployed drone that can stay under water for months!

How will the batteries stay at charge for months?

Converting salt water to energy, using semi ....membranes.....aah forget it.

Guys who are training prey birds in Holland to catch rogue drones have - in mean time - already trained hundreds of electric catfish (order Siluriformes, Malapterurus) to occasionaly make contact with the swimming drone and discharge up to 350 volts using electroplaques of their electric organ.
There are passive battery charger ports painted in vivid colors so the fish would see it.
