When was this video shot?I have a video of this place too!
First time flying in Tripod mode. Super stable. I'll admit I need some practice. I was really nervous flying so close to things, especially branches.

What does RC stand for? (remote controller?)
Great video! I have a regulate P4, so what does tripod mode do that I can't do with slow, gentle flying? Thanks!

you haven't priced ladders lately then. especially if you roof is up a ways.Nothing, but to fly slow and gentle, and avoid side obstacles, takes a lot of concentration and effort. Why not let the machine take the strain. Bit like saying if I want a view from above why can't I just get a ladder out and climb onto my house roof, save me a load of money.![]()
Or perhaps at least give the page item number reference from the manual. This response is not worth your time writing, " I suggest you read the manual". A quick answer would have been more inline with the forums objective of being helpful to newbies, or a pilots lack of knowledge.

Did you know the people running around? Or was it just by chance? When I went twice now I didn't see a single soul.like 3 days before it was posted
Can you explain Tripod mode? It looks to me as if you are just slowly flying through the old park. BTW where is that? Very cool video!First time flying in Tripod mode. Super stable. I'll admit I need some practice. I was really nervous flying so close to things, especially branches.

Tripod mode slows the controls. Big stick movements equal to slow aircraft movements. Also all sensors are active. It makes it extremely easy to fly closer to objectsCan you explain Tripod mode? Newberry Springs CaliforniaNice video! What a great location, looks like a scene from an apocalyptic movie or video game.
When you need slow and precise movement, such as this one where I was precisely maneuvering around geese. If you're wondering, this was taken with a Mavic, which is more quiet, and creates less down draft, hence easier to get close to geese. Can someone explain some uses for Tripod mode?
No. Could have used a bit of music though. Is that in Cali?
I thought it was a great video lots of useable footage, it would be fun to play with it in editing.
