Taking the drone abroad

Hi guys, I've recently purchased a new psa which arrives tomorrow
I will being going on holiday soon and want to take it with me.
What is the policy for taking these on the plane:
•can they be taken as hand luggage?
•do they have to be checked in as normal luggage in the hold?
• is there issues with transporting the lipo batteries on the planes?

US, other place, domestic, international? Really makes a difference.

Domestic in the US, cannot check lipo batteries. No issues with Phantom as carry on. TSA may want to swab the Phantom at most.

Lol, yeah I'm based in the uk. So would be travelling to parts of Europe, America and the carribean.

So with some destinations I may need to purchase batteries whilst out there?

You can't leave the Lipo batteries in your check-in luggage but you can put them in your carry-on bags.

I recently brought my p3p and two batteries from Norway to the US and back. I took it as hand luggage, and at the airport in Oslo I took out the batteries and sent them separately trough security. They told me it was not necessary to do that. But they swabbed the bird though There is a limit on how much lithium a battery can contain, but these batteries are far below that
