Source for software & fireware upgrades please.

Hi. Thanks for reading this message.
I am collecting my vision2+ today having had the camera repaired following a crash last year!!
I cannot seem to find a source on the DJI website for the software & firmware upgrades for the Vision2+, could someone point me in the right direction please.
Since last year I have replaced my PC and am now running Window 10.

I'm not sure Windows 10 can run assistant? There have been lots of problems with NO DJI support for the 2's! As they are discontinued and no longer in production!

Also downgrade your app 1 step, I have videos on this and DO NOT UPGRADE EXTENDER! It will brick your new camera gimbal board!

Thank you for your reply, could you advise what version of Assistant I should download from your site please.

Sorry to appear dense, I am 63 and its some time since I used my DJI!!

Ok, the site is not mine, but he does have most of what you need!

Lately people who have pulled out their drones after some time, their apps have auto updated, so when they are turning on their stuff and open app ( DJI vision app ) it says, you need to update your extender, and has a check for yes, IF YOU DO THIS, it will burnout your camera! There is an issue with that update, and DJI won't correct it as p2's are discontinued, so they do not care!

Anyhow,
If your phantom flew find the last time you flew it, I would NOT UPGRADE! IF: your app has auto updated, to the very newest version ( version with bad update ) you will want to REVERT your app to an earlier version ( one WITHOUT the bad update ) 1 back is fine or go back farther ( up to you ).

RC ASSISTANT ( version 1.2 )
PC ASSISTANT ( version 3.8 )

I will let you know how I get on.

Hi Jerry.
Thanks for all your help & advice.
I downgraded my second PC back to Windows 7 and downloaded the 2 DJI control apps, I was not prompted to upgraded any firmware, so I left well alone!!
I then prepared my vision for testing, and flew twice without the camera in order to get re-acquainted with it, only crashing into a fence once!!
After this I ten fitted the camera and went through the binding process, and flew it yesterday (Sunday) and took a video.
All went well and once again thanks for your help.

after reading your reply, is it safe to assume that I now have an expensive flying quad without a camera? I updated my extender

Have you followed all procedures?
Scan for wifi ( InSSIDer app ), reset extender?Rebind or Delete and reload app ( WARNING: make sure you back up phone before you delete if you are iOS , as app is unavail right now )
Not saying it is not burnt, but might not be, just follow procedure on this and let us know?

Hi everyone, I have the PV2 and thought I'd go flying last night to catch some fireworks. After firing up the drone and the ap my screen said hey there's a new update for the extender, there was no No button so I clicked update.
Well now I have a choice of either connecting to the phantom wifi after I reset the extender, or going in and re-binding and then losing the wifi. Either way I can't bind, or connect now since the upgrade. I keep all my toys in pristine condition so what if it's a few years old. I still liked flying my PV2 drone, sigh! Now I'm not sure what to do as I jumped on eBay and ordered a new range extender off from a plus model the model 700 instead of the 500 model I currently have. But it also came with the plus version radio control all that for like $70 not too bad. Well I'm hoping #1 I can downgrade the upgrade and #2 upgrade the wifi repeater and radio to the plus version. What do you guys think?

I have done all but delete and reinstall the app, still no success. I will try to delete the app and reinstall it later and let you know.
