Saving my friend's cheap quad over water in tree with my P3P

Good save! I'm wondering what would have been your backup plan should the hook get caught in the branches and you were unable to dislodge it.

If I managed to tangle the P3 and have it tie itself to the tree and I was unable to get it lose with about 10% left I would of set the phantom in the trees and gotten some kind of hydraulic lift to retrieve. I think part of me did this just to justify how much money I have into it now, It definitely reinforced my decision to go with DJI.
