Currently, this is Sandisks fastest writing microSDCX card. Is there a real big benefit (writing/image quality related) between using this card versus the regular 64GB cards that are more popular?

There's no benefit in paying for the fastest card to use in the Phantom.
The speed bottleneck is the Phantom camera and a more expensive card won't do anything better or faster.
Also going for a 64GB card doesn't make sense if you value your images.
64GB will hold many flights and keeping all your work on the same card and sending them up again each flight, you are putting them at risk every flight.
