resetting phantom 4 to factory settings

I there any way you can reset the phantom 4 to factory settings without the assistant 2? I'm not able to link my controller and my assistant 2 to my drone. Please help.

Can't you just launch the assistant, plug the usb in and select factory reset?

Yes, however my assistant isn't picking u my drone. I have tried it several times uninstalling and installing everything. I also used 4 different macs and 1 windows computer. I'm not sure what is going on. The drone won't even connect to its controller.

No. The firmware can only be factory reset via the DJI Assistant 2 app.

Leave it to DJI to find a way to screw us all over. You can only reset the firmware with their app, but they make it IMPOSSIBLE for the app to connect to the drone. Bastards.
