All you need is the right size rod and a water glass. That's the way I do it and have been doing it that way for years. Don't get me wrong the De-Bro is great but you can do without it. Just saying.Hey
CAn you recommend the most normal prop balancer by its job and its price?
Thanks
a bit more info about this technique? All you need is the right size rod and a water glass. That's the way I do it and have been doing it that way for years. Don't get me wrong the De-Bro is great but you can do without it. Just saying.
I've been adding clear Scotch tape to them for a few years now. None of the tape has ever come loose and/or been slung off.I don't add anything to the props as what ever you add might sling off while in flight
Yes you will need to buy 6mm rod extra with this.
I use fine sandpaper to get the extra weight out. It's personal choice.when I balance... done this for years now.... with the balancer you determine the heavy side... the side that drops.... and I take a sharp steak knife and scrape the trailing edge very lightly and it takes off very very little material.. repeat until balanced. You could use fine sand paper, it will do the same thing.... I don't add anything to the props as what ever you add might sling off while in flight.... most of the props come very close to balanced so your not taking hardly anything off of the trailing edge...
Just easier for me to remove material than to add material...I've been adding clear Scotch tape to them for a few years now. None of the tape has ever come loose and/or been slung off.
