Plane mode.

Hi guys

I'm pretty new to dji drones and I seem to be having a issue with my phone. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy a3 2016. Which seems to work well except for every now and then the screen just goes black. It only lasts a few seconds and then it reconnects. And it's fine for the rest of the flight. I was gonna try it next time in aeroplane mode but wondered if it will still rth with no mobile data turned on. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

The Phantom does not require any mobile data at all

Yes. It uses the GPS receiver inside of the Phantom to find the home point.

Great thanks guys just think my phone is going blank because it's doing to much at once. So will try aeroplane mode and see how it goes.

Make sure to close all the apps on your phone before flight also
