Pin connections?

Ok, so my dog attacked my drone which resulted in gimbal damage and wiring pins detaching from the plug as pictured.

The plug is 10 pin and the cable is 8 core.

My question is, which 2 pins are spare?

At a guess- the centre 2.

Yep, pins 1-4 ground, 7-10 +V

Btw- we know you crashed it, whether or not the dog played some part it.

Just get a new cable set, there pretty cheap and will save you from causing more damage by getting the connections wrong.
When I was a kid my dad and I spent weeks building a free flight glider,( No radio then), the first flight was perfect, it landed exactly where it was supposed to but our dog decided it was a bird and ripped it to shreds. Oh well let's start again. That was 60+ years ago and I'm still at it.

I would have said yes but having looked at your original post and realising it's a standard I'm going to say I don't think so, it's probably the end two on the gimble side that aren't connected. A quick Google should get you sorted.

Try a not so quick one- it will be there, even if you search for cable kits and look at the pictures it should be fairly easy to see where the pins go.

That's no help at all, the wires are seemingly terminated out of order. I would search for cable kits and look at the pictures. Probably your best bet.

Oh, btw, I'm happy to admit to crashing it when I do actually crash it. But in this instance the drone was already on the ground.

Yup big birds too. I almost got attacked by an osprey.
