That's also my question: Should both GBs be changed to OKs in each of Ojcze Nasz' uploaded files?thank you for clearing this up bro.. and one last thing, so now in your files yo have not changed GB to OK, and there are two $country = "GB" , since our files are same now, I can leave them as it i.. right bro?>>??

(great work BTW !)
Thanks.
If you want you can use my files, no need to change anything.
Or..you can modify your own file to make it look like mine.
Is this patch only affecting the video/telemetry transmission signal (2.4ghz), or also the control signal (5.8ghz) from the remote?
Hi Tom,my first post here on phantompilots.Im also very new to the P3S. Any idea what the outcome of this hack would be on a DBS modded controller? thanks bud
I don't know. I was getting 100% at 1.5km with stock antennas. I don't know how far the video link would go. I would test it but I don't want to loose my drone just yet. It hasn't been even 1 week since I have it.
I presume you will get better results provided DBS antennas are better than the stock ones.

Huh is this the thread for this antenna range extender talk? You had advised me not so as it is about transmitter output? Enjoy, donnieI don't know. I was getting 100% at 1.5km with stock antennas. Yeah, now it's about antennas, what you have for sale Donnie ?
Do you have anything over 22000 ft ? Do you have one that would reach the moon for 1400$ ?
Weird.. my phantom reports being in FCC mode with the iw reg get command while i'm located in Europe. I dont have gps inside the house, but it was my understanding the P3 defaults to CE mode when gps is blocked?![]()
It *is* in FCC mode without changing anything (only removed the hash in the script to enable telnet access).so didn't you get the FCC mode??
no sir for 1400 you can be the first to reach mars. donnieYeah, now it's about antennas, what you have for sale Donnie ?

edit: i'm going to check tomorrow what happens when i have gps reception outside.
edit2: so it appears the remote is reporting it is in FCC mode (with and without gps signal on the phantom), but the phantom itself is in CE (GB) mode (with and without gps signal). After changing the mode on the phantom to FCC through telnet (without gps) and then letting it obtain gps outside, it stays in FCC mode.
I did import my remote from the US, don't know if thats the reason it always is in FCC mode.
I did some more research last night on this. It ALSO sniffs other wifi networks in order to find country code.
(APs report their country code in the beacon)
