P4P+ switch?

On the left and right side of my P4P+ Controller are grey, rubber dress strips. Under the left dress strip there is an obvious switch (press it. Feel and hear the click). Anyone know it's function or might it be for future expansion?

Near the center of the left dress strip/grip, underneath. You can't see it but you can feel it when the strip is pushed.

i can hear plastic rubbing plastic but i dont think its a switch

My remote controller definitely does not have a button in that location. The left dress strip/grip feels solid no matter where I push on it.

Mine is solid also.

I think it's just poor assembly or gluing or something. My P4P non advanced does the same thing on the same side.

I have the same device and have no switch. Having taken the remote apart in different controller, it is all plastic under the rubber.

Also, think of it this way: why would there be an unmarked, undocumented switch in an incredibly awkward location?
