P4 update.

The P4 I am using have these versions of firmware and am wondering if I should update to the newest. I hear different things about updates. Do them...Dont do them. I had been flying a P4P with the latest updates until... well I have a P4 now. Anyway, shoud I or should I not do any updates? Thanks.

Since I have no reason not to install the updates, I always install them.

My AC is 2.00.0810
RC is 1.9.3
01.17 for both of the databases

I generally update about a week after I first see the notice to update. Haven't had any problems that I'm aware of.

Running a standard P4 with no modifications to anything.

I think if I can go somewhere with a good internet connection I may go ahead and do it. Not at my place. I'm going to search and see if I would see any noticable changes between the version I have and the newest.

After updating to the latest 2.00.0800 on the aircraft, I started having problems with my p4. Slow forward movement, lost the ability to rth (it would just ascend to maximum height). So I downgraded and everything was normal again.

No issues with updates as long as you do them correctly...

An update is recommended and it is supposed to be with no issues. But no guarantee for that..

i have the ph4p2.0 and keep the aircraft updated but stay away from all the flysafe

I just powered it up now and this is what I got. Will probably do the firmware update when Bring it somewhere with a good high speed connection. Mine sucks...
