P4 standard / Advanced - Remote Questions

Thanks for any input. I have a Phantom 4 standard and today I bought a P4 Adv. Is it possible to use one RC for both aircraft? I just can’t seem to find this answered anywhere. I also order the Conqueror antenna system and was wondering if one RC can control both aircraft is their a better RC between the two to install the Conqueror on? Thanks so much for your time.

If you'd like to use one remote controller, then you'll need either the GL300F (also available here) or the GL300E (also available here).

I didn't think that the P4 Pro controllers (GL300E & F) worked with the original P4 Standard? I thought that those controllers only worked with the P4 Pro and P4 Advanced.

Both of those remote controllers will connect to the P4 (Standard) after you choose "Phantom 4" as the "Remote Controller Type" (see below) and restart the remote controller.

Nice, and thanks for educating me! So how does the 2.4 Ghz signal strength compare to the other remote controllers (GL300A, B or C) when flying a standard P4....is it as good as the GL300A???

Thanks msinger. You cleared up all the questions in my mind. Figures I’d need something else. Guess I could just do a clean install kit and mounts on both RC’s and swap the Conqueror antenna but I’m still not even sure it will work with the advanced. Says pro on website but that’s 5.8 and this system is only 2.4 so I hope they meant Advanced besides the standard P4. Actually bought it for the P4 so either way all good. Thanks again all, new Advanced in the house to check out!

Well if any one else is currious about this I just spoke with James at Titan Drones and the Conqueror Antenna system will work on the Advanced as well as the Standard. Said he shall fix the website info to indicate this. A good man for sure and couldn’t have shipped or responded back any faster. First Class, thanks James.

How come I do not see the advanced settings below the "link remote" on my GL300C while trying to link it to my p4 advanced coming from a p4 standard?!?

I believe the P4A comes with the GL300C VerB, That has those options

That setting is only available on the GL300F or the GL300E.
