Some notes today:
bright clear sunny day, took break from work.
Flew the p4 in the front yard, flew around, watched the mailman, flew up to 260ft, took a pic. Then back down. Cruising across front yard, sun at my 9. Started dipping again. Had not dipped or tilted today during other manuvers.
altitude was roughly 30ft
Stopped went straight backward, no tilting. forward again, more tilting...put the sun at my 6 and flew forward, tilting again.
rotated 180 degrees, went forward again this time sun at about 3 still tilting.
Things I noticed:
- No objects detected on the avoidence sensors.
- It only started the tilting when I flew in a south westerly direction. I think it always starts tilting after flying towards this direction and then continues to tilt afterwards.
- There are no power lines near, no buried cable, barely even cell service.
Things I need to try:
- testing at higher altitude, maybe sensors see my dead grass as a weird pattern.
- recalibrate
no video yet.
