P3s won't downgrade from 1.8.10 to 1.5.70

I have seen videos and post in this forum on how to do it, just can't get it to start the download, after formatting sd card and transferring bin file.Then I turn quad off and wait for the downgrade to take place.NOTHING HAPPENS!Please help.Thanks for helping a newb.

Went to phantomhelp.com firmware archive amd downgraded first time.had to do a couple downgrades to get to 1.5.70

did you downgrade to 1.7.9 then to 1.6.8 then to 1.5.7? 3 times downgrading?

You can't downgrade from 1.8.

I misunderstood that you were referring to the controller revision. RC 1.8 cannot reverse revision level.

Any reason why you choose 1.5.7. I thought 1.7.9 is the best for p3s
