P3A/P - is our range crippled now??

Maybe DJI's attempt to gradually phase Lightbrige out of the Phantom line and exclusive to the Inspire? Then replace it with this improved WiFi instead.. After all the P3P does almost everything the Inspire does at 1/3 the price.. Maybe DJI wants to differentiate between the two more. Or maybe just switch to lower power consuming Wifi to get a 25 flight time. But personally I would rather have double the range than an extra 2 minutes flight time.

I agree. I believe DJI is going to do way with lightbridge in the P3 series. The 4K is the new P3P in my opinion.Why else would they use the signature gold stripes on the 4K.

I doubt they will do away with LB in the Phantom. They are just catering to a larger audience. Diversity can be a good thing if done correctly.
