P2 Battery endcap removal question led windows

I'm getting a P2 shell hydrodipped. I've managed to remove the endcaps from the batteries to get those done too.
I'm stuck trying to remove the little windows for the led's on the battery cap, they appear to be glued in. Is there any way to remove them? I'm sure I read somewhere that somebody had. Any pointers are most welcome.
