I have been looking for an answer/help my current issue with no luck. Hopefully, someone here can chime in.

Every time I power up my P4P, Remote and DJI Go APP I get the "No Image Transmission Signal" message after hitting Go Fly. After about 5 to 10 minutes (waiting times vary) it goes away and I am able to see what the camera is looking at through my screen. I have been flying the same bird with no issues for about 5 months and this is something that just started. Everything else is working fine and I can still fly and take photos and videos, move the gimbal, I just can't see what the camera is looking at until the problem resolves itself. To this point once this issue corrects itself I am good to go and it hasn't happened in flight. Not being able to see what the camera is looking at makes flying pointless so I just sit and wait. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me troubleshoot or give me a fix.

Also, just to disclose, I have not done any recent firmware updates or app updates so it wouldn't be related to that. As mentioned above, the current firmware and app version worked fine for months. This issue just stared a few weeks ago.

Thanks

Have you tried to relink the craft to the RC?

If that doesn't work, consider using another device temporarily, such as your phone. Download the current GO4 app to this temporary device and see if it works. Although you may be using older firmware, a newer version app sometimes works. You may need to login with the new app.

Also, try changing from 2.4Ghz to 5.8Ghz AUTO or vice versa and see what happens.

If you happen to be flying with a custom channel you may coincidentally have inference on that channel (long shot guess). If that's the case, look at the interference monitor in the GO4 app and select another channel.

Does this same problem occur at multiple launch sites?

Did you fly with your mobile in your pocket? If so, enable flight mode. This will help significantly.

It's interesting that you get better performance with your cellphone in airplane mode, as implied. I've flown over two years with 4 different DJI craft using lightbridge and I have never put my iPad or my cellphone in airplane mode, and I get a 4 mile range with my P4P and 3 miles with my Mavic, P4 and P3P. Even flying near cell towers don't seem to affect things.

it depends on you luck i guess and you are the lucky few.

My first flight with P4 was great with no issues at all. Since I've upgraded to P4P upgraded to the new firmware back in June, I have to ground my AC for weeks before i found the solution to green screen and limited transmission. I believe there are more P4P suffered the same and some of them find this tip is useful.

In an experiment i did, i was flying alone transmission has been great and steady, then 4 of my friends were using their mobile phone and just stand around me, there was a moment the P4P lost it's connection and was just hovering.

I've seen interference when another pilot is flying a DJI craft on the same band closer than 50' from me. If the other pilot is flying on 5.8 and I'm on 2.4, no problem, but if we're both on the same band I've seen this problem if close by. Phones or cellular iPads on idle have never given me an issue when connected to the internet, but I have never flown near someone actually talking on the phone, which may be more intrusive. I'll keep that in mind. I usually always fly alone, away from people, and I have never talked on the phone while flying either, so that may be why I haven't noticed an issue.
