New owner and just unboxed. Confused about USB port.

Hey all. First post here. New owner of a p3 pro. I just unboxed and started to go through stuff. I noticed the controller only has a mini USB port. I thought they had both? What's going on here? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Howdy and welcome! Nope, just the one USB. You can order a new controller port with the micro HDMI port.

I just got my P3P two weeks ago and my R/C has a large USB port and a small USB port both. Do I have the most current model or an old model?

Glad you have a great bird, one piece of advise, read and read the manual, is NOT ready to fly out of the box, by your post i can see myself, turn everything on and then i figure it out,
1 Charge Tx read charge batt read more, hope i don't get you angry but it is a very good advice

I have been around here a while, and never saw a P3P with that particular radio... Unless this is something new, I believe that in house
Somebody packed the wrong radio, in your kit.

That is a phantom P3 4K controller, it does not use a usb port it uses wifi for connection between the controller to the phone/pad.

Haha phew!!! That's a relief. It is a 4k sorry my bad. I downloaded a manual online and have watched numerous videos while waiting on my drone to arrive. Guess I missed that important detail, sorry guys. I was getting worried because I bought it on Amazon, not from DJI.. Thanks for the quick replies!

Ah.................. the 'ole switcheroosky!! The P3 4K!! Yep, it's wireless. And I should have looked at your pic a little closer.

This is the controller for the P34K not the P3 Pro.

It's just one micro usb port.
