I just recently got into drones. I have wanted one for some time now and just couldn't get myself too spend the money.
So I was looking again at them recently and bit the bullet. I went with the one I could afford and still have a good one. I bought the Phantom 3 Standard. I picked mine up at BestBuy and got an Amazon price match at $459.
I found it easy too fly so far and am having a good time practicing and learning the ins and outs of flying.
I did get the drone registered before my first flight so am legal as far as that goes. I'm learning where I can and can't fly now and thinking about getting the 107 certificate so I can possibly use the camera in the business I work in.
I live in East Central Missouri and we have many opportunities and areas to fly in here. I look forward to learning more as I peruse the forum.
