@Jeff48920 that was really helpful, question, if they are circular polarizers do they still need to be adjusted based on the lighting of the shot?

Yes,both circular and linear polarizes work best at 90 degrees from the sun.

I have, but I did not try it extensively. Since adjustable filters contain two pieces of movable glass, the image will mostly likely have an inconsistent color throughout. I'm going to do some more detailed testing to compare it to my other filters.
