You can always pinch and zoom maps on iOS.

No if you are saying zoom about pic and video

Does litchi have a zoom function?

Litchi is an App for flying a particular copter in different modes.

A zoom function would relay to the lens, means this is a question of "hardware", hence the answer

Left stick back and/or right stick forward

related to the distance of the object.

However the question is for sure of high interest for all those out there using their bird for aerial footage.
I suppose these kind of features might be available in the future, for now we have to deal with fix focal lengths.
