How Did you study for the Part 107 test?

I am an aviation insurance broker. I get a lot of questions from potential clients about how to study for the Part 107 test. However, I have not taken the test myself. How did everyone study for the test?

Is all I did was use the FAA Test Study Guide. Of course I had been reading up on stuff and learning for six months prior to that as well. Bottom line, it's no big deal. Use the FAA guide and maybe the other things msinger shared and trust me, you'll do fine. DEFINITELY avoid using some kind of paid service to study. Save your $$$. Everything you need and more is available for free.

Since you're in the aviation business, are you already a pilot? If so, you can take a free shortcut to certification. FAASafety.gov has a short course (ALC-451) specifically for certificated and current pilots. Pass this and you're ready to submit on IACRA.
