Geez.... What are these idiots doing? There's no need for a new law for what is already an FAA rule. I have a feeling FAA will have something to say about some Podunk town trying to step into their jurisdictional space.

It is pretty silly. Especially after FAA has distributed materials to LEOs specifically asking for their help in enforcing their rules. All the city would have to do is advertise the FAA airport rule and make it clear it will be enforced by the local police.
