I have been approved, through the Department of Interior, to fly search and rescue missions on a Wildlife Refuge here in SW Oklahoma. The FAA has told me that, since I am in Law Enforcement I do not need an Exemption but I do have to file a Flight Plan and NOTAM prior to the flights I conduct. I need anybody out there that has filed either of these to assist me in figuring out how to do it. I now have both aircraft registered with "N" numbers and have an account with Lockheed Martin Flight Services. If somebody has a sample of either that you could send me I would greatly appreciate it.
