Hello from North Texas

Howdy all!

Marc from North Texas here. Just getting into flying drones. Have been doing real estate photography and decided to take it to the next level. Flew fixed-wing years ago and been flying RCs since. Just seemed like a natural to put the two together!

I've also done a lot with SAR and hold several FEMA ICS certifications. Would like to get more into using drones for public safety, working with county SOs, etc.

Right now, though, just really enjoying the heck out of flying my "new to me" Phantom 3.

I look forward to learning from you guys. From what I've ready so far, this is a pretty educated group of individuals!

Hi Marc. Welcome to the most obsessive hobby I know of. If you plan on using your drone for commercial use, you'll need to get a part 107 license.

Took the FAAST course the other day and scheduled my Part 107 test this morning!
