I got my H3-3D setup and running. I am not using the a/v plug at all on the gimbal, but instead have a cable between the camera -> OSD mini -> Immersion Tx and it seems to work fine. I did not go through the phantom board because I didn't have the proper cable to hook up the phantom av. IOSD and Tx. It works even though the gimbal a/v connector is just sitting there with no terminator on it.
Is there some feature that I might be missing by not routing the av through the phantom board? If I use the USB connector that came with the gimbal, is there any features that I don't understand....like turning on recording when the quad takes off or something cool like that?
