Graphic card for P4P video editing

Hello everyone,

I am a bit new to video editing, will be using a PC and Premiere Pro as my editing software.

I would like to ask more experienced video editors which graphic card would be recommended to help me have faster editing on Premiere Pro or probably some effects being rendered.

I am aware that editing 4k requires a good machine, using SDD hard drives, good Ram and a fast processor. I am asking for a recommendation on a good graphic card to help me in the editing. Any more tips will be more than welcome.

I'd go with nvidia because of CUDA that pp uses. GTX 970 or higher maybe.

175 - 400. How much on board memory would be minimum? GTX 970 has 4GB.

A better place to present this question would be on the Forum sponsored by the Video Editor that you have chosen. Some editors use the GPU to do all the rendering. Some are balanced between GPU and the CPU.
