Thank you for the post. Ford is on top of everything, it seems. Their Sync3 infotainment system is going to be used by Toyota and they are ramping up their driverless car work. (I have absolutely no connection to Ford, nor do I own any of their products.)

If you think about it, Ford and DJI are kindred spirits. Ford mass produced the automobile, making them affordable to the people, just like DJI has done for UAS.

search and rescue? more like government military needs. i'm still good with that.
i like that DJI opens up the technology for anyone to build something with purpose. ie the self flying crop sprayer. kinda like the roaming vacuum cleaner.
Speed Racer had a drone or "homing bird" that launched from his car.
