Just wondering if anyone has tried to fly drones to get footage of fireworks show at a distance. Or fly into or super close to the fireworks, so you could see them explode right in your face. There are a few drone videos that actually fly into fireworks which is really cool.
But if I were to just do that, would the people shut off the firework show if they saw a drone. Plus is it possible for a firework rocket to hit a drone or the explosive stuff hit the drone? I live near Angels Stadium and they do firework shows and they shoot them in the parking lot. So it could be possible for me to fly outside the stadium, but still be very close to the fireworks. Is there any danger for a drone to be inside fireworks? Like if a firework hit the drone, would it only be bad for the drone or could the firework drop and explode way too low.
When I was there, I was so close to the fireworks that I found burnt pieces of the rockets on the ground. And I was at the closest I was permitted as a by-stander, just stayed behind a barricade thing.
