First flight over water

Had my P3P for a little over a month and this is my first time to fly over water. Quite disconcerting to see your quadcopter over a big body so I kind of hugged the shoreline quite a bit.

I LOVE flying over water. I used to be worried but a 200' drop will wreck the Phantom anyway no matter what you are flying over!
Apart from the resevoir that looks so dry and arrid. Where I fly is bright bright green **** rain!

First part was from the dried lakes of lake Hughes and lake elizabeth which was a popular fishing spot not too long ago... Just goes to prove the real threat of the drought here in California
