Firmware update

Looked could not find the exact answer. I'm sure I'm doing this correctly but want make sure. When you update the firmware on the sd card example the 1.7 delete that .bin file from the sd card and drop the new 1.8 firmware in its place then preform the update. I did the update everything seems work fine but the results fine shows success for the 1.7 nothing for the 1.8 but it went through beeps and the red green light flash and back solid green after like it always dose just want to make sure everything was done correctly. No messages on the rc

Perfect I was doing doing correctly just wanted make sure too many horror stories of fly aways and crashes

You should see a success message for 1.8 in the log. Do the proper firmware versions show in the "General Settings" --> "About" section of DJI GO?
