How do you cache the maps?

On Apple devices, make sure the following setting is enabled in DJI GO:

Note: This setting does not exist in the Android version of DJI GO.

Then, connect your mobile device to the Internet, open DJI GO, go to the location and zoom level where you'll be flying, and scroll all around the areas where you're going to fly to cause the map images to download.

Well, I went flying again today, and I saw "Gimble Motor Overload".... again. Doh! Forgot the gimble clamp.... again.

Also added a Marco Polo, not quite sure how close it will get me yet in case of a flyaway, but it's a little more piece of mind. I've gotten to the point where I've turned off my distance limit, and starting to trust the drone will come back to me when I lose the signal.

Also learned how altitude can be your friend when flying far out there, to improve signal and range.
