i'm thinking that registration will be re-instituted sooner than later. Next to come will be a transmitted ID for each aircraft. Not saying its good or bad, but the reprobates flying where and when they shouldn't, need to have a boot applied to their necks somehow... The guy flying at the Goodwin fire might be a good example to start with.

Yea I am sure they will have some kind of requirement for hobbyist in the near future....

When binding your a/c and Tx the Rx is 'taught' which unique Tx code to obey. So such an ID is already baked-in and being broadcast.
