Emergency parachutes for UAVs?

Just a thought. Hang gliders and para gliders utilize them. I think it would be a very useful addition to next generation AC. Minimize damage to people and property in case of a failure.
 
Cirrus airplanes use them too.

What I don't really like is that on the video, shows deployment, but at a very late stage, meaning that on normal flight altitude, you might hit the ground before it opens up correctly. Besides (if I am seeing right) I noticed that in one of the tests, the drone weight brakes the line, and falls to the ground [emoji15].

I noticed that too, no good having a chute that is no longer connected to your device, lol.
