I searched to see if this has already been discussed and got a zillion hits on something else called 'Icarus' but it wasn't this.

Drone Hijacking is a Thing Now - RC Groups

Just wondered what other more experienced flyers think of this. How would someone know if they had been hijacked or had a Fly-A-Way?

I don't know if the P4 is DSMX (I just fly it)

The way I see it I blame the manufacturers. Drone manufacturers do not apply any encryption and authentication making it easy to compromise drones! Hopefully there is enough chatter where manufactures take this issue very seriously!
