Double Sided Tape For Placing ImmersionRC 600mw Transmitter on Phantom 2 v2

I placed the ImmersionRC 600mW A/V transmitter to the bottom of my Phantom 2 v2 and after the transmitter got hot, it fell off. Is there a special recommended double sided tape (or velcro tape) that I should be using that is heat resistant?

I went to an auto parts store and bought some 3M double sided tape. It's intended use is for applying weather stripping. So far so good. I don't think it's coming off, very aggressive.

I use 3M exterior mounting tape. It is a grey tape with red color firm on top. That thing holds.

I use 3M Dual Lock velcro. Pretty solid - but removable.
