Distance weakness

If my RC shows a weak or signal loss is it my RC or my P4? In my neighborhood the distance is super weak 148 m I believe pic attached.

The other is out on a Mesa with a long clear view and even then I only got 900m

. I know I should get better distance. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hey man, I'm totally having the same problem. My RC signal is weak and then disconnects at around 350m everytime...?? Any ideas on how to combat this??

Have you tried the 32 channel hack? Only thing that comes to mind is that you have something else wireless fighting for the bandwidth in that area.

Do a search for antennae orientation to make sure you have them pointed correctly.

You must have a lot of interference or something is wrong with the P4 or RC.

Took mine out into the country today and dropped the RC playback to 4mbs it flew easy over 1km

My P4 had a tilted gimbal after the updates and calibrations. I calibrated the IMU, gimbal and compass a second time and that took care of it. You might try that.

After I finally tested my stock RC vs my P3 modded RC I have to say, the stock is so so so very sensitive to a perfectly aligned antenna! Just a little bit off and it would lose strength, and come back to 100% with the slightest adjustment. Made it not fun to fly, and gave me more respect for the Itlite mod!

my stock wouldnt allow me to fly pass 3000ft, Did the 32 ch hack and selected manual channel and set to 4Mbps
did a test yesterday and within 3000ft had signal weak, adjusted the antenna a little on tx and manage to get 5700ft
