Controller Mod to connect to rooftop mounted Antennas?

Would anyone be able to provide a link showing how to open and mod the controller to be able to attach a lead going out and to a antenna that would be mounted on a rooftop?

What is your intent. You would have to use a signal booster going that route. Also what are your needs for OSD and FPV?

I have access to 1/2" coaxial cabling, and have no problems with the booster, as t seems the ones with the specs I need are easily available on eBay.

More than anything I just want the added benefit of being able to place an antenna on a 20ft pole to be able to get a solid boost in range. I was also considering a smaller version for the car.

If you amp that signal up, you're going to have very angry neighbors when it screws with their home wireless.

I have never used these, but several guys on another P3 forum that I am on rave about these. They all fly from inside their A/C vehicles and will fly in their heated vehicles this winter

These antenna mounts are using teflon coax which is an excellent choice for 5.8 GHz.
