Conquer range extender by titan drones works with p4p - review and feedback

That's a sweet looking case! Hopefully you'll get it soon and keep us posted about it as well.

Yeah man, I had been eyeing it off for a while, it was just the other day I had another look at it and it was 50% off and when I saw that I had to make the leap $100 for a hard case that can hold that much stuff I think is a bargain!, yeah I'll let you guys know how it goes

Was actually thinking to myself the other day,

I'd love to review items and give feedback on any Phantom related items

It would be great if there was a dedicated section for reviews of products. Where companies are trying to promote a product that does not have much advertising behind it, they could sent it to a few of us in a so called "review group" and then we would post up our thoughts, experiences and reviews plus any additional feedback or ideas.

I personally would love to do something like that and it would be great for everyone to get additional information regarding a product they might be considering in the near future

I ordered it Thursday night with the UPS second day air.

Lol you Did it on the "down low"

I don't recall you posting up any questions or saying that you were going to purchase, maybe I missed it....

Just out of curiosity What where the reasons you had chose this over others?, for me, I think almost everything about the conquer outweighs all the others but that's my opinion I'm curious to see what were the main features that pushed you in this direction

I really did do it on the down low hahaha! I have been looking at range extenders for awhile. The maxxUAV system and fpvlr but I like the fact that this entire system can be disconnected and has its own built in battery. I like the whip replacements on the go. Not to mention it looks great. I got the blue Halo to show off when I want to lol. Everything about the systems form factor is great. Plus with a slight modification in my new hprc case, I can fit the block antenna. One question I do have is what cord charges the antenna? Does it plus into a wall charger or have a USB cable? I would like to be able to charge it with my Venom 4 battery charger.

I also got the stick replacement grips. Hoping it will make them less likely to slip and more comfortable.

I also got them but to be honest I haven't used them, I was hoping it would make the controls smoother when trying to do slow movements but I haven't got around to using them,

Did you also say you ordered the whip antennas? you will be glad with the whip antennas as even though I don't use them much it's handy to have and also very easy and quick to swap over. Just adds flexibility into your kit and they provide better range then the stock antenna but obviously not as much as the conquer. Now your set, I can't wait to hear you guys feedback on them because they are definitely great products

Lucky man I didn't even know they had an option for the blue LEDs which I definitely would have opted for if I knew!

Same as you before coming across the conquer I was looking at Maxxuav and fpvlr but I didn't really like the fact that once done I would have to put my controller seperate as it wouldn't fit in the case anymore, plus I heard mixed reviews which I can understand as everyone is gonna have different results as there is too much variances to consider. But conquer I could attach and detach was a big selling point for me, plus able to add the whips and it just to me offered a whole lot more eg penetration, long range, built in battery so won't drain remote, etc.

As for the charger for the conquer it will be supplied when you receive, it plugs into the wall power point and straight into the conquer, the part that plugs into the conquer to charge it, is actually a quite common. So you should be able to charge differently if that's what you want.

Give me a few mins and I'll get a pic of the part that charges it to give you an idea

Yeah that would be fun to do as well as getting the info.

I hope I can find one of those with a USB end! Thank you sir!

I'm pretty sure you should be able to, they are pretty common I found around the house about 3 chargers with the same connection at home as the one supplied has the USA part that plugs into the wall, here in Australia we use a slightly different part in our power points, I used a travel adapter at first, then had a look around the house and found 3 different chargers for stuff that I use that had the same part that plugged in. So I'm sure you can get exactly what your looking for you might even be lucky and have it lying around the house somewhere

What tools will I need to do the install. I have alot of electronics tools but just want to make sure I won't be missing anything.

I don't really have much of a tool range myself, most things you can improvise, however what I needed and I couldn't bypass was the T6 screwdriver, lucky for me I have a guy at work who has everything, so I just asked him if he has and then he gave it to me at work the next day and I was able to do it

Have you watch the install video on YouTube? In the vid he goes through the tools he uses, some help make it easier but you can bypass without them, but you can't open the controller unless you have the T6 screwdriver, below is a pic of it and the thread, but if I was able to do it and only missing the T6 screwdriver then I'm sure that's all you will need as I have a very basic range of tools, I usually borrow them when I require something specific

I use two tools a T6 Torx and a Phillips Head to mod a transmitter.

Which is pretty much all you need, in the install vid he has a couple other tools like a flat piece and something else which can make it easy to remove the rubbers on the controller and to clip/unclip in the ribbon cable but you can do without them

The actual modification is pretty easy to do with watching the video, but I recommend watching the Entire way because even as your putting it back it makes sure you don't miss or leave anything undone

You got it! I will definitely be using the video the entire way through. Luckily I'm always working on laptops and things so I have a full range of torx screw drivers. What's even more awesome is I emailed support regarding finding a charger that's USB capable and he emailed me back within 5 minutes....On Easter Sunday. Incredible support. He's going to send me a link for the proper cabling. Awesome to have this kind of support!

Honestly when I first purchased through them I had emailed them a few time and every single time they went above and beyond, I was really happy with the product but it was their exceptional customer service which made me want to post my experience and review with them. I felt that these guys should be recognised for it because it's not seem as much these days, plus I had already made a purchase with them so they already had my money they could have just ignored me and dealt with potential new customers. But they still answered any questions I had.

It's one thing to offer a great product but to back it up with great customer experience and support it's what people will remember about the company. I'm glad that others are posting their experiences with dealing with them too because at first when I posted this on here not much people had any information regarding these and now others are starting to share the same great experiences that I had which is why I felt the need to share it with everyone here
