Change Phantom from 5.8 to 2.4

I have a phantom 1 which is running at 5.8Ghz. I want to install my FPV, which is also at 5.8.
Any one know how difficult it is to change the Phantom to 2.4 ?
I've heard that it's not very easy.

Welcome to the party Bob,
I didn't know DJI built a P1 that is controlled with 5.8. Are you sure you don't have a FC40 with an invisible camera?

Thanks for the response, the guys at us hobby, told me that the newer version came in 5.8.
My manual said 2.4., so i hooked up a 5.8 FVP.. Had trouble with the quad signal, ( crash ).
Look on the back of my controller, and it says 5.8...
