Can the jelly effect still exist with a gimbal?

I put a gimbal on recently. It is pretty smooth, but I'm still seeing a jelly effect (e.g. warbles and jitters in the picture). Is this normal even after having a gimbal sometimes? Any advice?

Yes
All on what gimbal you have you can change the rubber dampeners (balls) that connect the top and bottom plate .
You can make sure your props are balanced too .

The jelly effect is going to occur when you use a gopro in bright sunlight, whether it's on a phantom with a gimbal or on the handlebars of a motorcycle. The combination of movement and the gopro shutter moving too quickly in order to properly expose the scene, is what causes the jelly effect. The only way to fully get rid of it is with an ND filter.

Thanks everyone. I'm using a Walkera G-2D gimbal. I changed the dampers, but not much help.

I did not need to balance the gimbal with coins, but in some cases you may need to. You just need to put one on and see if your gimbal supports the weight without balancing. If it tilts forward at all you need to balance the weight.
