Calibrating P3A compass on four-story balcony

Hello all, I brought my P3A about 1800 miles away from my home and last compass calibration location. I was wondering if I could safely re-calibrate my compass on a four story balcony. Thank you

I wouldn't attempt that. I'm sure that balcony contains a lot of metal.

I would strongly advise against it. There is a lot of steel in most balconies and buildings.

Why not cal at your flying location(s)?
Is it your intention to fly from the balcony too???

If so, also not recommended.

Can it be calibrated outside and taken to the 4th floor balcony and launched?

Thanks for your advice but was hoping to avoid a crowded beach to calibrate, but I will try to find a good location. I will not be calibrating on the balcony. Thank you

DON'T - Just Walk down to the ground floor well away from the building or parked cars pref in a park area - just think of all the wires and pipes under your feet as well!!!
