Broken pvlr 2.4 dipole

Buddies 2.4 dipole broke at the tee in a tree crash. It was obvious where it snapped so i removed shrink tube,clamped it down & soldered back together. Idk if tony recommends this or if it needed to be tuned but the only test flight so far was 8000' before control signal dropped and wifi was 100%. Maybe you guys can fix these yer self!

Tony fixed one of my dipoles and only charged shipping. I had it back in just a few days.

Maybe because it was pilots error but he (fpvlr) only ffered to sell my buddy (1) at $30. It was an easy fix though
